Orphanage

An orphanage in Nepal
This house is supporting street kids in Kathmandu, Nepal. A Christian couple in Nepal hosts a house where they shelter 15 young boys that once roamed the streets of Kathmandu. These boys are being given shelter, food, but also education in particular. The ultimate goal is to realise a fully operational orphanage that caters for the basic needs of such boys and provides them with long term opportunities to get an education, thus increasing their chances for a better future.

The vision of the orphanage
‘We started to go into the streets with these boys to testify about what God does in their lives and wants to do in the lives of many others. And this they do in an awesome way! They are enthusiastic in visiting their old friends and tell them how change came into their lives. The boys keep telling that it is their heart's desire to go out and tell other kids that are just as helpless like they once were, and help them in whatever way possible. They are so generous that they even give their own clothing and pocket money to those that need it. They are not just blessed themselves, but they want to be blessing to other children too."
